About BaeCars · Since 2019
Self-drive cars from people who own them
BaeCars started in Jaipur in 2019, renting self-drive cars the offline way, and served more than 50,000 customers across Rajasthan.
Today BaeCars is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Verified local owners list their own cars, set their own prices, and hand over the keys. Travellers book online or on WhatsApp and drive themselves.

How BaeCars works
For travellers
- ✓Pick the exact car you want, from a real owner near you
- ✓Book by the day, or by the week or month on cars whose owners offer it
- ✓Doorstep and airport delivery on many cars, with the fee shown before you pay
- ✓Cancel up to 3 hours before pickup and get 80% of the rental back, and your deposit in full
For car owners
- ✓List your car free and keep it: BaeCars never takes custody of it
- ✓Set your own prices and the dates the car is available
- ✓Every renter is verified before they drive
- ✓Earn per trip, paid out to your bank account
What we check, so you don't have to
Renters
A driving licence and ID check before anyone drives. Visitors from abroad use an International Driving Permit and passport.
Cars
Registration is verified, and insurance validity is checked before a listing goes live.
Handover
The owner checks the renter's original licence at the handover, and both sides rate each other after the trip.
